March and April have been very slow so far, me and the team here at Studio J. We have been very busy these months with Tennis and school and everything else that we haven't done a whole lot, other than a couple of "Did You Knows." but that's about all we have really gotten accomplished these months. But let's take a look into the future, shall we? Next month we will be working on a short film. So stay tuned on that, its going to be a pretty big project.
Well, February is coming to an end, and it’s been a pretty crazy month for me. Sub-state basketball started for me this past week, as well as being really busy during the whole month of February. Basketball is now over, it ended last night, as we got beat by Phillipsburg. Now that Basketball is over though, Tennis starts, and non-basketball players started practice earlier this week, I start practice today. Tennis will make everything pretty busy, having two to three tournaments every week. The good thing is that Tennis isn’t near as stressful as the other sports I do, which is always nice. That and it’s finally started to get nice out here, which means more stuff to do, rather than sitting inside doing homework or watching Netflix. Project wise, it has been a very slow week, we started working on a project pretty early on in the month. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to finish it but we are hoping that eventually we can finish it sometime in March. There isn’t too much left to do on it, just some finishing touches and a couple more shots and it will be good to go. March should bring more projects, we have a couple ideas in mind already for a couple of ideas. I might even help out Kevin with his podcast, which should be a lot of fun. April should be a pretty normal month, project wise, as for May; May will probably be a pretty slow month, Tennis will have me really busy. There probably won’t be as many projects that come out in May unfortunately. Then once May ends, school ends, which means that there won’t be any projects out over the summer until next school year. Until then, make sure you keep up to date with all the projects that do come out over at my videos page. See ya later.
Well, its no longer 2017 and 2018 has some pretty great things coming our way. This month we have already been working on some pretty great projects. J.A.M. (Joe, Ashley, Miles) have been working on a pretty big project, a News Story, "How Sports Affect Grades." It has been a pretty lengthy project that started at the beginning of this month and was just recently completed. I have recently been asked what is coming up in the future. February is going to have a bunch of great projects that'll be coming out soon. As far as January, it has been pretty slow but that will change next month. Here at J.A.M. studios we have a bunch of stuff planned for the next month, so stay tuned.
Go the Videos page to see all the new videos that are out. Well, its December and both November and December had a lot of fun stuff happen. I was planning on making a video over the school, instead I drowned that little kitten in the river, to join Miles and his Living With Livestock news story. This news story started a little slow and a little rough, as well as the ending. This news story had its fair share of problems, although with a little brain storming and help from our sponsor, Crispy Sports, we were able to end the project on a good note. Other than the Living With Livestock news story, these two months were rather uneventful. So happy Hanukah, merry Christmas, happy Holidays, and Feliz Navidad. And don't forget to check back here next year for some more good high quality craftsmanship.
Well it is October and we have a bunch of great stuff to show you. And as in bunch I mean my production team and I only churned out one video this month. "Following A Legend" was a news story we made this month. We interviewed the basketball coach, coach Brian Gentry, to see what it is like to follow in the former coach, Glenn O'neil's footsteps. along with gathering more information on the upcoming basketball season. I think overall it was a very great month and I am looking forward to next month.
It's a new year here at SCHS which means a lot more projects. Which also means a lot more happiness for you. There have been three projects I have produced so far, which include; Don't Drive Drowsy, Did You Know, and Tennis Promo.
Don't Drive Drowsy: The first video I have produced, and starred in is the Don't Drive Drowsy PSA. This was kind of a last minute project that Miles, Ashley, and I created. Miles and I were the brains behind this PSA, while Ashley did most of the editing. It was a really fun and interesting project to work on. Like I said it was a last minute project, so it didn't really turn out how we were expecting it to turn out. Did You Know: The second video I personally produced was the Did You Know Project. I worked solo on this project, and I didn't have very much fun making this project. It took me maybe a day to make this project, so it really didn't take me very long. That day that it took though, was not a very fun day though. This video is going into another video with a bunch of more videos just like this. Tennis Promo: The last video that I have produced is the Tennis Promo video. I worked on this with Miles, and we were considering the name of the project to be "The Forgotten Sport." You see, tennis is not a very popular sport in our high school and community. We decided to get tennis out there a little bit more to try to bring people to watch it along with getting people to go out for the sport. Miles and I had a very good time making this project. "Well, I decided to make a blog for this while Tildo's (aka Hayden's) face is still recovering, he'll be fine, minor brain damage. Anyways, I thought that this Video came out alright, but we kind of got a little behind and we couldn't use some of the stuff we wanted." -JE
This PSA didn't turn out how we expected it too. first off the the Hospital room that was in the video was actually just a girls bathroom in a church. And secondly the layout didn't really turn out quite right. Other than that I thought it came together very nicely.
Yesterday Kevin Duong, Kevin Herndon, and Isaac Evans, aka my brother made a new Christmas video. It came out a lot better than I thought it might. Because of Kevins great editing skills it came out really good.
